About Nylon PA6 / PA66 - PI (Polyimide)
Nylon - Polyimide (PI) combines outstanding thermal stability with excellent mechanical properties. Operating continuously at 260°C and intermittently at 300°C+, PI maintains its properties where most other plastics fail. It exhibits excellent creep resistance, outstanding dielectric properties, and low outgassing — making it ideal for vacuum and high-purity environments. PI is available in unfilled, glass-filled, and graphite/MoS₂-filled grades for enhanced tribological performance.
