Amber transparent thermoplastic combining high strength, flame retardancy, and dimensional stability up to 170°C.
PEI (Polyetherimide / Ultem®)
About PEI (Polyetherimide / Ultem®)

PEI (Polyetherimide), commonly known as ULTEM®, is an amber-colored, transparent thermoplastic with excellent high strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. It maintains its properties at elevated temperatures and provides excellent dielectric properties across a wide frequency range. PEI is UL 94 V-0 rated at very thin wall thicknesses, making it a natural choice for aircraft interior components and electrical/electronic applications where flame retardancy is critical.
